If you do not have an "Office Updates" section, you will need to remove the current version before installing Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise from the Office Portal. If you have an "Office Updates" section, your version was installed from the Office Portal. To verify your version, open an Office Application, Click on File > Office Account.
Users with Microsoft 365 apps for enterprise running on Windows 7 devices will continue to receive security updates until January 2023.
Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise is no longer supported on Windows 7. Please note support for Windows 7 ended on January 14, 2020.
